Rotary Backing Plate, Ø 165mm-6.5" velcro with 5-8" female thread

Rotary backing plate velcro with 5/8 inch female thread, flexible low-profile design, for use on rotary polishers.
Above all, mille backing plate is essential to the stability of the BigFoot System. Manufactured from expanded polyurethane, it is extremely resistant to mechanical stress. Most importantly, when used with RUPES BigFoot polishing pads vibration is reduced to a minimum. The perforations in the RUPES backing plate are to create air flow. As a result, it helps to dissipate any heat from the polishing action.
The Velcro on the backing provides an effective anchor for the foam polishing pad. This backing plate is heavy duty and also attaches to pads using a strong hook and loop pattern. The Velcro material is useful on all RUPES polishing foam and wool buff pads.

The rotary backing plate is available in 3 sizes:
